Welcome to Photographer's SupplyStation • Terms & Conditions Page

First, be aware that you are required to be not just "satisfied," and not even "100% satisfied" — but absolutely, positively thrilled with our products and service (and, of course, our great prices). That's just the way it is, and we're both going to have to live with it that way. Period.

Guaranteed: This is all brand new, quality, equipment which equals or surpasses those with retail list prices far higher! Buy responsibly, but with confidence. These products are 100% guaranteed to be brand new, and come with the manufacturer's full one YEAR warrantee! Anything received damaged or DOA will be replaced promptly and at no cost, of course. Trust us, you'll love this equipment! Returns: If you should be dissatisfied (Heaven forbid!) you may return your purchase (in original undamaged packaging and in new and undamaged condition, of course) within 7 days of receipt for a refund (less shipping costs). Some returns may carry a 20% restocking fee (manufacturer-imposed). P.S. Feel free to review our eBay feedback check our feedback.

Shipping: At this time, we ship only to the U.S. and Canada (no other foreign countries sorry). We do our best to ship all orders promptly, and most orders are shipped the very next business day after we receive cleared payment; but "officially" we say 1-3 business days. Shipping charges, as they are programmed, are for UPS or FedEx ground shipping (in the contiguous 48 states). HI, AK, PR, addresses higher. Canadian shipping is also higher - about double the US shipping cost (e-mail us for a quote). During site updating, if you require a different or faster shipping method, please e-mail us for shipping quotes. Once the site is finished being revised/updated, we'll have all shipping choices and methods programmed in (and might have it already done by the time you read this). But feel free to contact us for shipping quotes or any questions or comments at orders@photographerssupplystation.com Otherwise, we'll ship via ground using our choice of shippers (UPS/USPS/FedEx)

Payments: You may pay with credit or debit card, or electronic check, through PayPal, or by check, cashier's check, or money order. California residents only add 9.75% sales tax (sorry). Please be aware that you do not need a PayPal account in order to pay with a credit card or e-check; PayPal may ask if you want an account, but if not, just decline. Basically, PayPal is just the company that processes credit card payments for us; it's up to you if you want a PayPal account, but it's not necessary. Please See Important Note below for additional information.
Procedure: Once you place and pay for an order (Bless you), you'll receive an e-mail verifying the receipt of your order and payment. This first e-mail will be sent immediately after your payment is received. Next, you'll receive another e-mail from us with more information about your order, and links to helpful pages with photo tips and instructions pertaining to the equipment you purchased, and giving you a shipping date. This second e-mail will usually come within 24 hours or so (not counting weekends or holidays). And finally, you'll receive a third e-mail message with the tracking information for your order. This will likely come the day after your order ships out (we usually receive the tracking data in the evening of the day of shipment, and if it arrives after we collapse from exhaustion for the day, we send it to you the next day. Unless it's a weekend or holiday, or something else happens. Every now and then Murphy raised his ugly and hated head.

ALSOs:
If you don't find exactly what you want, you can also send us a list of the items you want, and we'll be glad to put it all together and make you a custom kit at a great custom price!

You can also ask us to send you a "request for payment" (RFP) e-mail message with all the appropriate charges already entered for you (from PayPal) and you can simply follow the enclosed link to input your credit/debit card information and pay for your purchase that way. You can also pay by personal/business check, cashier's check or money order. Payments via checks will delay shipment until payment clears. All checks must be drawn on a U.S. Bank, and be payable in U.S. dollars. Such payments can be mailed to Photographer's SupplyStation, P.O. Box 371445, Reseda, CA 91337-1445.
If you choose to mail in your payment, it would be wise to contact us first, so we can assure that your order is correct and appropriately priced

NOTE: It has become virtually impossible to keep all the pictures of every item in every one of the many different productsand kits up to the moment; manufacturers are changing products almost weekly, and with the hundreds of items, kits and packages we have, keeping every image of every product, and in every kit updated just isn't something that's possible any more. So items are subject to change or substitution with new or updated products. Also, there just isn't enough room to show every single item that's in a kit in the Gallery Images (pictures showing the kits), and sometimes an item in the Gallery Picture is no longer included in the kit (usually because it's been replaced with an integral or superior product). So please be sure to understand that sometimes newer products may replace older ones. Item names, order numbers, color, or shape may vary. If you should have any questions or concerns, we'll be glad to address them, so don't hesitate to e-mail us if need be (PhotoSource3@pss3.Com). Being human (yes, most photographers are human:), sometimes a typographical error might creep into the descriptions somewhere, and, of course, we are not responsible for, nor bound by such errors; please forgive any mistakes which, while extremely uncommon, sometimes happen.Additionally, while the site is in the process of redesign, there is the possibility of something not working as expected, so if you run across any difficulties, please e-mail us and we'll fix it for you. Also during site revisions, it's possible there may be a very few pricing errors, and any that occur will be promptly corrected. Thanks for understanding. ALSO: Please be sure to unblock our e-mail addresses (PhotoSource3@pss3.com and/or Orders@PhotographersSupplyStation.com) if you place an order or ask a question (that's if you want to receive a reply, anyway:-).
Another NOTE: Our PayPal account shows our other company's name: Adam Publishing, because Photographer's SupplyStation's name is too long to fit in the space PayPal allows for subsidiary company names. So don't freak if you see the Adam Publishing name during checkout; all's well, it's only us.

Why we're here:

Photographer's SupplyStation was created to serve the needs of photographers (from rank beginners to seasoned pros) as well as regular folks who want or need to improve their images, and realize that professional lighting equipment is the best (or even the only) way to do so. We are here to help out, and to make quality studio lighting equipment available at affordable prices.
Mission Statement: Photographic equipment - especially studio lighting equipment - has been far too expensive for far too long, and this has kept far too many of us from being able to make the great images and videos achievable only with studio lighting equipment. So we set out determined to see if we could find good quality, dependable, inexpensive equipment with a warrantee of a year or more. It took us a while, it wasn't easy, and we rejected many; but in the end we found what we were looking for and have presented it here for your consideration. Everything on this site is of excellent quality, is dependable and well-made, and will perform the job it was made for just as well as any other similar equipment on the market - at any price. The image doesn't care one whit how much the light illuminating it cost. But you should.

Thank you for visiting us, we do appreciate it. May your photography and/or videography blossom with beauty (whether you order anything or not). ;-)

The Secret of Light: It is important for the beginning photographer to realize that light itself is the paintbrush and the pen of the photographic artist. Light itself is the language and and the music of photography; light is the inspiration and the beauty; light itself is the the tool that photographers' use to create stunning images. No less than a brush in the hand of Rembrandt, or a perfect line from the pen of Shakespeare, LIGHT is to the photographer! A tiny shadow placed here, a spot of light there, a slight movement of the head to the left, the eyes directed just a bit downward, a gold umbrella to warm up the paleness, a softbox to hide the wrinkles.... LIGHT is the nectar and ambrosia of the photographer! Light and it's beloved opposite, shadow, are the food and drink the photographer needs to nourish his/her creativity.

The biggest misconception among amateurs is thinking they need an expensive camera and thousands of dollars worth of costly studio equipment in order to make great pictures. Not so! Fabulous images have been made with little more than a cardboard box with a pinhole in it! The camera is not very important at all. Virtually any decent camera will do just fine to start with. And even the cheapest light you can find will work just as well as the most expensive ones. It is where you place the light and where you place the shadows that's important. It is how you modify the light that's important. Work with light. Love light. Befriend shadows. Use them. Use them wisely, and you will produce masterpieces. Well, enough of that. Here you will find the tools you'll need to make fabulous images. The rest is up to you.

And so, welcome to our humble corner of cyberspace. We're in the process of redesigning and updating the Photographer's SupplyStation web site, and during construction, when the site is in disarray and it takes a brave and hearty soul to wander among the confusion, where it's difficult to find what you want, we are rewarding those seekers by reducing our already amazingly-low prices to absurdly-low prices, at or below cost on many, many, products. But you'll have to click around the site to find them. We call this our "Pre-Grand-Opening Sale." It would be wise to take advantage of this sale while construction continues, because as soon as the site is finished, and ready to go "live," these absolutely unbelievable prices will increase to barely-believable once again. ;-) Meanwhile, peruse the fabulous bargains listed above, and may the Photographic Gods smile upon you (a little help from the Lottery Gods wouldn't hurt, either, huh?).
